{"id":4,"date":"2008-04-11T06:35:21","date_gmt":"2008-04-11T14:35:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oracleofkabbalah.com\/blog\/return-to-the-land-of-your-soul"},"modified":"2008-04-11T13:37:20","modified_gmt":"2008-04-11T21:37:20","slug":"return-to-the-land-of-your-soul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oracleofkabbalah.com\/blog\/return-to-the-land-of-your-soul","title":{"rendered":"Return to the Land of Your Soul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This morning, feeling somewhat overwhelmed by how many projects I am simultaneously juggling right now, I turned to <span style=\"font-style: italic\">The Oracle of Kabbalah<\/span> to see what insight it might provide me. \u00a0I chose the letter, <span style=\"font-style: italic\">Resh<\/span>. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The chapter on <span style=\"font-style: italic\">Resh<\/span> (which incidentally was the hardest chapter of all the ones in the book for me to write because of the traditionally negative commentaries regarding this letter) quotes from &#8220;Return Again,&#8221; \u00a0a song made popular by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, of blessed memory.\u00a0The song goes, &#8220;Return again, return again, return to the land of your soul. \u00a0Return to who you are, return to what you are, return to where you are, born and reborn again.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic\">The Oracle of Kabbalah<\/span>\u00a0comments, &#8220;To return is to turn again, to come back. \u00a0Have we lost our way in this confusing world? \u00a0Have we lost sight of who we are or who we want to be?&#8221; \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The letter inspires me to breathe deeply, to step back from the tasks that seem so pressing and take a broader view, a deeper perspective. \u00a0All of a sudden, the many projects I am dealing with don&#8217;t seem so burdensome. \u00a0The mystery of life seems more imminent.
